Aqua Clear 402's unique reverse flow feature allows the power head to force water down the undergravel riser stem and beneath the gravel. The water flow through the gravel is reversed, promoting bacterial growth at the bottom of the gravel layer as well as the top. Easy to use slide controls effortlessly control both output direction and rate. The impeller housing swivels to adapt to most riser stem placements and the unit can be secured with either the convenient rim clamp or the suction cup bracket for submersed operation.
