While pets are often our best friends, they’re still animals that can get into plenty of trouble! Keep control of your cuddly critters by successfully using cages! From typical uses like crate-training for dogs, to less common uses like outdoor enclosures for indoor pets, cages can be handy for solving many types of pet dilemmas!

For your itty-bitty critters, one of the many great hamster cages on the market can help keep your pets safe and happy! Hamster cages, although in name are for hamsters, can actually be used to house many different rodents. If you have a small pet like a mouse or rat, a hamster cage can be equally effective. So if you have one lying around, or acquire one from a friend, feel free to use a well-washed hamster cage for other small furries as well!

To lend an elegant look to your home while accommodating your beloved birds, try looking for an antique bird cage. These come in many different styles including stand-alone and hanging. There are also antique-inspired bird cages which allow you to have all the style of an antique but without the high price and potential aging problems. Give your bird the glamour they deserve with a beautiful antique bird cage!

For the indoor pet, try giving them a taste of the outdoors with an outdoor enclosure! There are definitely a ton of potential styles and colors available, as well as material types, perfect to match a bird cage to any theme and style. These tips can help anyone decide which cage to make a garden really shine.

There are a ton of different cage materials available, with lots of wood and metal varieties on the market. Match this material to the furniture most commonly used in the garden. For example, if the most common material in the garden is bamboo, finding a bamboo cage can help complement and match the theme. Other examples are buying a antique bird cage for a Victorian-era feel for a rose garden, which is a thematic similarity. A similar instance would be an Oriental-style pagoda cage for a Japanese rock garden.

Other possible ideas are to match with colors. Try to use complementing colors, instead of exact matches. A white cage really pops against red or blue flowers, or plain wood against more vibrant blooms.
