What a complete mess with the shipping of these jars Amazon! I am seriously thinking about NEVER using you again because of this! I ordered 3 different sized jars. I wasn't home for the first delivery of 2 of the jars. UPS left a note on my door stating that they NEEDED a signature & I was to call them for a new delivery date. This was on a friday and guess what? Stupid UPS does NOT deliver on a Saturday! When I called UPS the cust srvc rep was totally rude and extremely un-helpful. I finally gave up. I had to change ALL my plans for Monday just to stay home all day long waiting for this shipment. I was told they couldn't give me a time as they never know where their drivers are. WHAT??!!! This can't be good. Finally LATE afternoon my package arrived. I waited for him to hand me the clipboard to sign my name, but he just handed me the package, told me to have a nice day and he left. DOOO WHAT? I just COMPLETELY WASTED MY DAY STAYING HOME FOR A STUPID PACKAGE THAT DIDN'T NEED A DANG SIGNATURE! UGH I WAS SOOOO UPSET! I couldn't figure out why Amazon shipped a package to me that required a signature! It gets better. I'm expecting my 3rd jar any day now. Hoping and praying that it would come on a day I was home. It never came. I was checking my bank statement and noticed that I had a refund from Amazon. What on earth for? I did research at this point. Found out that according to UPS my 3rd jar was undeliverable and returned to sender. WHAT??????!!!!!!!! I was home all that week and NEVER EVER did a UPS driver/truck pull into my cul-de-sac. I have no idea why I never received that package as I NEVER returned it! I wanted it dang it. Oh well no matter, I found a local grocery store that carries these exact same jars for CHEAPER and NONE of the shipping hassles I had from this order! Amazon, let me know when ya'll STOP using UPS as this was a MAJOR hassle that I didn't need or want & I MIGHT consider doing business with ya'll again.

I got this jar to store dog food in and it's the perfect size. It also looks nice and is very sturdy! I chose this one because my mom had one just like it for over ten years and it held up great (as a matter of fact, I think she STILL has it...)

I love this jar! Exactly what I was looking for... I wanted one big enough to hold a decent amount of flour... so annoying to have to refill a cannister every time you make something... totally defeats the purpose. This holds a bit more that 10 pounds of all purpose flour, for reference sake. It is beautiful, and drug store vintage looking.
